iPad users rejoice.
Google, on Wednesday, launched its Calendar app specifically optimized for the iPad.
“Whether you’re jumping from meeting to meeting or on your way to meet a customer—your calendar needs to work for you…anywhere, anytime,” Calendar product manager Sharon Stovezky said in a blog post.
“That’s why today, we’re bringing Google Calendar to the iPad. With the new app, you’ll get all the Calendar features you know and love.”
The Find a time tool enables a more efficient method of scheduling meetings with suggestions on meeting times and available rooms based on your team’s availability and room preferences.
The Set Goals feature enables you to add a goal like ‘go to the gym’ to Calendar. The app will then find the right time in your schedule for said goal, making it more likely you will actually follow through on it.
Spotlight Search, meanwhile, enables you to search your Calendar easily from the iPad home screen.
On the way for the iPad app is a Today View Widget, which enables you to easily see your upcoming events in the Notification Center and on the lock screen.
